I started California Vascular Health Specialists to deliver care beyond treatment.     • Dr. Zarkowsky has contributed more than 60 peer-reviewed articles to JAMA Surgery, Journal of Vascular Surgery, and other highly respected publications, in addition to several book chapters in vascular and spinal surgery texts, including the 11th edition of Rutherford’s Vascular Surgery, vascular surgery’s seminal reference textbook. 
    • National meetings accept his science for presentation regularly and he is excited to continue collaborating on new ideas and medical technology with exceptional colleagues and resources present in the vibrant Southern California academic and medtech communities.

  • FUN FACTS/HOBBIES

    • His wife is an MD PhD at Stanford University, where she is currently NIH-funded. 
    • They have 3 children, who enliven their days, nights, and weekends with constant activity - from beach trips and playground fun to hikes, ski slopes, and soccer fields.
